Dr. Smith Joseph, D.O., Pharm.D., earned his Doctorate Degree in Osteopathic Medicine and Pharmacy from Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University (FAMU) and Nova Southeastern University, he completed his residency at Morehouse School of Medicine and an Associate Degree in Pre-Pharmacy from Miami-Dade Community College. Dr. Joseph is a Physician at Universal Medical Center. On November 4, 2014, Dr. Joseph became the first medical doctor to be elected “Mayor” in Miami-Dade, County (City of North Miami). He works in Miami, FL and specializes in Internal Medicine. Dr. Joseph is affiliated with North Shore Medical Center, Jackson North Medical Center and Jackson North Medical Center. He has received a Patients Choice Award in 2015; In 2009, Dr. Joseph was inducted into the Miami Dade College Hall of Fame.
